Volleyball Game Preview: Tippecanoe Red Devils vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs

The Tippecanoe Red Devils will challenge the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Tippecanoe sitting on 28 straight wins and Bloom-Carroll on 11.

Tippecanoe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Archbishop Hoban 3-0.

Tippecanoe was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Bloom-Carroll faced Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Lions 3-2.

Tippecanoe better keep an eye on Sienna Hogue. She was instrumental in Bloom-Carroll's win, getting 18 digs and two assists. Hogue is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Bloom-Carroll was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 33 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Tippecanoe's victory bumped their record up to 28-0. As for Bloom-Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 27-1.
