Basketball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. The contest between them and the Western Panthers didn't end well, with the Northwest Mounties falling 54-39. The Mounties were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 61-56.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Western, they moved to 7-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Northwest has already played their next match (against Coldwater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Western is taking a road trip to face off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Madison's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Western has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
