Hoover had to settle for second on Friday, but Stacy Kursh sure wasn't going down easily. Kursh got seven points on the board, an effort that rewarded he with a new career-high in scoring. We marked that as the best effort he's had all season, even better than his performance on January 24th (when he posted five points).

Coming up, Kursh and Hoover will take on Sunnyside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kursh will face off against CJ Jones, the Wildcats' star forward.
