Softball Recap: Bromfield Comes Up Short at Home Against Gardner

Bromfield unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-3 to the Gardner Wildcats on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

The victory (which was Gardner's fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bromfield is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Murdock at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gardner, they will face off against Narragansett Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
