Burrell had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 14-1 margin over the Apollo Ridge Vikings. The win continues a trend for the Bucs in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won five in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burrell will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hickory at 11:15 a.m. on March 23rd. As for Apollo Ridge, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Freeport at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
