After a string of three wins, Canal Winchester's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Groveport-Madison Cruisers by a score of 68-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (63), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Canal Winchester's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8. As for Groveport-Madison, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Canal Winchester and Briggs will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Canal Winchester is facing Briggs at the right time seeing as Briggs is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Groveport-Madison has already played their next match (against Newark), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
