Softball Recap: Moriarty Gets the Win

After only two runs in their last matchup, Moriarty made sure to put some runs up on the board against Laguna Acoma on Saturday. The Pintos came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 12-8. The Pintos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.

Emma Rodriguez was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kristina Means, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Moriarty's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Laguna Acoma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moriarty will take on Hot Springs in a tournament on Thursday. As for Laguna Acoma, they will host Mora at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
