Lakeland lost against Moscow back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks came up short against the Bears, falling 12-1. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Lakeland saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Averitt, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Nate Bevacqua also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Moscow, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

While Lakeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
