Soccer Game Preview: Cummings vs. Seaforth

Cummings hasn't had much luck against Seaforth recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will head out to face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Cummings has given up an average of 6.3 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cummings is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game last Wednesday. They came up short against Jordan-Matthews, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Seaforth came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Mustangs. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Seaforth were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sofia Viana, who's now up to 28 this season.

Cummings' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Seaforth, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1.

Cummings might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Seaforth in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
