After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Edon finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Fairview Apaches, falling 12-2. The Bombers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Stormlin Osborn was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Edon's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Fairview, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Edon will face off against Edgerton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairview, they will take on Liberty Center at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Apaches' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
