Softball Preview: Calvary Christian Warriors vs. Mitchell Mustangs
The Calvary Christian Warriors will head out to face off against the Mitchell Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Calvary Christian is headed into this one coming off a big win against nationally ranked Lake Brantley (Calvary Christian was ranked 12th at the time). The Warriors were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Patriots on Friday. Considering the Warriors have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Morgen Talley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
