Basketball Recap: Tates Creek Comes Up Short

After flying high against Western Hills last Monday, Tates Creek came back down to earth. The matchup between the Tates Creek Commodores and the Lexington Christian Eagles didn't end well, with the Tates Creek Commodores falling 62-47. The Commodores were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 63-45.

Tates Creek has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Lexington Christian, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 9-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tates Creek has already played their next game (against Henry Clay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lexington Christian will square off against Paul Laurence Dunbar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
