Recap: Stockbridge Tigers vs. Pace Academy Knights
There's no place like home for the Stockbridge Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Pace Academy 71-49. That's another feather in the cap for Stockbridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Carrington Wilson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahli Ingram, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals.
Pace Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mary Kiley Paulowsky, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. Kate Grice was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 assists.
The victory got Stockbridge back to even at 2-2. As for Pace Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockbridge will take on Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pace Academy, they will be playing at home against Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hampton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 360th, while Pace Academy is ranked 152nd).
