Baseball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh fell victim to Paramount and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 back in March.

Firebaugh has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Paramount, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

While Firebaugh had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
