Oliver Schwarz, McAllen's leader in total tackles on the season, led the team again on Friday. Schwarz turned in his biggest game of the season, making 15 total tackles (3.0 for loss) and snagged an interception. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last 15 games he's played dating back to last season.

Schwarz and McAllen will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McAllen Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on October 10. The Bulldogs have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
