Softball Recap: Rising Tide Takes a Loss

Rising Tide didn't have quite enough to beat the Franklin County Tech Eagles on Sunday and fell 5-4. That's two games in a row now that Rising Tide has lost by just one run.

Amari Holley made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Ruth, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Rising Tide's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Franklin County Tech, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-12.

As of now, neither Rising Tide nor Franklin County Tech have any future games scheduled.
