The matchup between Morrison and Bureau Valley on Friday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Mustangs lost 20-6 to the Storm. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Tyler Peters made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Bureau Valley, they moved to 19-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrison will face off against Milledgeville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Missiles at the right time seeing as the Missiles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. The Storm will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Spartans will have lost four straight heading into Monday's contest.
