Baseball Game Preview: Valley Heights Mustangs vs. Marysville Bulldogs

The Valley Heights Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Marysville Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Valley Heights has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Monday. Valley Heights lost 18-3 to Doniphan West. Valley Heights has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Marysville was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Chapman by a score of 16-11. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Marysville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JT Becker, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Grant Haefele was another, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Marysville, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
