Softball Recap: Spring Grove Takes a Loss

Spring Grove lost against Southland back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 13-1 to the Rebels.

Spring Grove saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sydney Holland, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That hit was Holland's first of the season.

Spring Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Southland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Spring Grove will head out to take on Rushford-Peterson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southland, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander at 4:30 p.m.
