It was a good run, but New Miami unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Miami Valley Christian Academy Lions, falling 3-0. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Kate Conn had an outrageously good game for Miami Valley Christian Academy as she had 11 aces and four digs. With that strong performance, Conn is now averaging an impressive 12.2 assists per game.

New Miami now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
