Basketball Recap: Sebastian Perez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lake Wales over Lakeland

Lake Wales lost against Lakeland back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lake Wales Highlanders fell 61-51 to the Lakeland Dreadnaughts. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Wales lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Sebastian Perez, who went 6 of 12 en route to 16 points and five rebounds. Perez has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jorge Ramirez, who posted 12 points.
