Volleyball Recap: Culver Community Has No Trouble Against Laville

Culver Community won the last time they faced LaVille and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Haylie Parker, who had 15 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matchups. Maddi Moon also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Culver Community was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Culver Community pushed their record up to 15-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for LaVille, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Culver Community will host Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for LaVille, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Tippecanoe Valley at 6:00 p.m.
