Sierra Linda is 7-1 against Metro Tech since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Knights at 3:45 p.m. Sierra Linda has given up an average of 14 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Sierra Linda's offense. They came up short against Independence on Thursday, falling 21-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Metro Tech hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Knights put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 18-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their two-run performance the game before.

Metro Tech's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10. As for Sierra Linda, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Sierra Linda took their win against Metro Tech when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
