It was a proper cat-fight when Delta took on Summit on Saturday. The Panthers were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Tigers  back in September, they had to take a  3-1  loss.
 Delta never let Summit on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19,  27-25.
 Ava Martinez paced Delta's offense, picking up ten kills. Martinez got some help from  Chloe Sharpe and her 23 assists. Sharpe also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Makayla Wear, each putting up three.
Delta's win  ended  a  three-match drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-14. As for Summit, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record  this season.
 Delta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  victory against Rifle on the 21st. As for Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Glenwood Springs on the 23rd.
