Basketball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Berea was the 64-63 winner over Garrard County when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Berea Pirates fell 49-39 to the Garrard County Golden Lions on Tuesday.

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Garrard County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea will head out to challenge Sayre at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sayre will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Berea surely won't give up without a fight. As for Garrard County, they will head out on the road to square off against Montgomery County at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
