Soccer Recap: Lynnwood Comes Up Short

Lynnwood managed to keep up with Shorewood until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Lynnwood came up short against Shorewood, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Lynnwood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Shorewood are ranked fourth).

Lynnwood's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shorewood, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynnwood will head out to challenge Meadowdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shorewood, they will take on Bothell/Inglemoor at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bothell/Inglemoor will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shorewood surely won't give up without a fight.
