Softball Recap: Century Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

There's no place like home for Century, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past the Environmental Charter White Tigers 13-12.

Century pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.2 runs over those games. As for Environmental Charter, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Century will venture away from home to square off against Saddleback at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Environmental Charter, they will challenge Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Aviators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.8 runs per game on average), something the White Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
