Basketball Recap: Poteet Takes a Loss

Poteet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 51-41 to the Seagoville Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 53-47 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Poteet's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Seagoville, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Poteet and North Mesquite will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seagoville will take on Adams in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
