Baseball Recap: Warden Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Warden's offense. They lost 18-0 to the Kittitas Coyotes on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost four in a row.

Warden saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danny Martinez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Martinez has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Warden's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kittitas, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, Warden is taking a road trip to face off against Cascade at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kittitas, they will welcome Almira-Coulee-Hartline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
