Mt. Vernon kept a clean sheet against Warren Central on Saturday. They blew past the Warriors 3-0. Mt. Vernon might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Charlie Cole and Ryker Wolfgang scored all three of Mt. Vernon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

The win (which was Mt. Vernon's third in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Warren Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Vernon will take on Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren Central, they will challenge Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
