Soccer Game Preview: Greater Cabarrus S vs. Grace Academy

The Greater Cabarrus S Stallions will head out on the road to face off against the Grace Academy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Cabarrus S has given up an average of 5.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Greater Cabarrus S fell victim to Forsyth Home Educators and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, Greater Cabarrus S can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Forsyth Home Educators are ranked 142nd).

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Grace Academy was forced to settle for a draw. They and Metrolina Christian Academy finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw two weeks ago.

With that draw, Grace Academy's record moves to 6-4-1. As for Greater Cabarrus S, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
