Crystal Lake Central is a perfect 10-0 against Crystal Lake South since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gators at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Crystal Lake Central has three straight victories, Crystal Lake South has 18 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Crystal Lake Central and Central had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Rockets on Monday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Crystal Lake South fell victim to Hampshire and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 20-0 to the Whip-Purs.

Crystal Lake South saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hazel Hook, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases were Hook's first of the season.

Crystal Lake Central's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Crystal Lake South, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

Everything went Crystal Lake Central's way against Crystal Lake South in their previous matchup back in April, as Crystal Lake Central made off with a 13-1 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
