Basketball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The game between them and the Ovilla Christian Eagles didn't end well, with the Cambridge Lions falling 68-50. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1490th, while the Eagles are ranked 682nd).

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Ovilla Christian, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cambridge has already played their next matchup (against First Baptist), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ovilla Christian will take on Garland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
