Basketball Recap: Cary Imps vs. Hoggard Vikings
Cary had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-5 to make it four. They fell 68-59 to the Hoggard Vikings. While the Imps didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 15-11 in the first quarter.

Cary's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brandon Nixon, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 22 points, and Bryson Keith, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 16 points and four steals.
