Baseball Recap: Grosse Ile Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Grosse Ile had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Melvindale Cardinals by a score of 7-4 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in April.

The team relied heavily on Rocco Pascuzzi, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Max Myers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Grosse Ile's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Melvindale, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-11.
