Druid Hills scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 35-34 to the Clarkston Angoras. The loss leaves the Red Devils without a win on the season.

Yonan Tewelde was the offensive standout of the game as she posted two points in addition to eight boards and six steals. Those six steals gave her a new career-high.

Druid Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Clarkston, their win ended a 16-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Druid Hills will welcome North Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Clarkston, they will host Lithonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
