Baseball Preview: Pacific Indians vs. Chaminade Red Devils        
        
		
            
 The Pacific Indians are on the road again  on Monday to play the Chaminade Red Devils at 4:30  p.m. Pacific is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1  runs per game  this season.
 In what's become a running theme this season, Pacific gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  25-1 margin over New Haven. Pacific's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Xavian Cox made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Cox has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Cox was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Colton Kossuth, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Connor Mooney, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Chaminade gave up the first  runs two weeks ago, but they didn't let that get them  down. They walked away with  a   5-1  win over Webster Groves.
 Pacific has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record  this season. As for Chaminade, their record now sits at 2-4.
 Pacific couldn't quite finish off Chaminade in their previous meeting  back in May of 2022 and fell  5-3. Can Pacific avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
