Basketball Recap: Tenaha Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

It's playoff time, and Tenaha had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 49-45 W over the Douglass Indians on Friday. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Indians are ranked 915th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tenaha's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points over those games. As for Douglass, their loss dropped their record down to 15-19.
