Brodhead had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Turner Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Brodhead had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-11, 15-8.

Alecia Dahl paced Brodhead's offense, picking up five kills. Dahl got some help from Gretchen Kammerer and her 14 assists. Kammerer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Brodhead's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Turner, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Brodhead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clinton on the 11th. As for Turner, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Big Foot on the 16th.
