Volleyball Recap: Central Catholic Takes a Loss

Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain House Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-8.

Ronin Dragoo paced Central Catholic's offense, picking up two kills. Dragoo got some help from Walter Johnson and his three assists.

Mountain House's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amogh Janganure led the charge by getting four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Janganure a new career-high.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mountain House, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Central Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against East Union on the 12th. As for Mountain House, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Heritage on the 12th.
