Softball Recap: Alexander Spartans vs. Meigs Marauders
Alexander extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 0-10 in the process. They came up short against the Meigs Marauders, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aubrey Newell, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April. Bella Roush was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
