John Rainey, Moses Lake's leader in total tackles on the season, led the team again on Friday. Rainey did his part (and then some), making 14 total tackles (2.5 for loss) and defending one pass for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made eight or more in each of the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Rainey and Moses Lake will venture away from home to challenge Post Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Trojans thanks in part to Rainey: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made ten total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
