Basketball Recap: Essex Takes a Loss

Essex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Fremont-Mills Knights 80-46. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-60 back in December of 2024.

Essex's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Fremont-Mills, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-14.

Essex wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-41 loss against Heartland Christian on the 6th. As for Fremont-Mills, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-40 defeat against Bedford on the 7th.
