Recap: Manor New Tech vs. Elgin Wildcats
Manor New Tech lost against the Elgin Wildcats last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Manor New Tech fell to Elgin 50-44. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Manor New Tech has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Manor New Tech lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ja?den Stiggers. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The match was Stiggers' 13th in a row with at least ten points. Keylan Morgan ll was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Manor New Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Elgin, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
Manor New Tech will be home for the holidays to greet Smithville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smithville is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Elgin is on the road again on Thursday and play against East View at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st. East View is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
