Volleyball Game Preview: Harrison Blue Tide vs. Bayonne Bees

The Harrison Blue Tide are taking a road trip to square off against the Bayonne Bees at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Harrison will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Thursday, Harrison beat North Arlington 2-0.

Harrison never let North Arlington on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Bayonne unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Bergen. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Bees were not able to get on the board.

Bayonne's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Harrison was able to grind out a solid victory over Bayonne in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Tide since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
