Game recap: Big fourth quarter leads Clearview seals win over Oberlin

Clearview (Lorain, Ohio) put up 14 points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 36-14 victory over Oberlin (Ohio).

The score was knotted at 14 heading into the half. The Clippers took the lead for good on a touchdown run with 4:00 to go in the third quarter.

Jason Moore Jr played well for the The Phoenix The senior ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to eight on the year.

Clearview entered the contest giving up 26.3 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding Oberlin well below its season average of 26.0 points scored per game.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 42-7 win for the Lorain school.

Oberlin (5-2) goes up against Fairview in a Patriot - Stripes game matchup next week, while Clearview (5-2) locks horns with Lutheran West also in a Patriot - Stripes game.
