MaxPreps 2014 Preseason Top 25 Regional Football Computer Rankings: West Region

California claims 17 of the top 25 spots in the West regional rankings.

California teams landed 17 of the 25 teams in the 2014 Preseason West Regional Football Computer Rankings, led by Mater Dei (Santa Ana) in the No. 1 spot.
Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) comes in at the No. 2 spot while Hawaii school Punahou (Honolulu) comes in at No. 7 and Bellevue (Wash.) comes in at No. 9. Those were the only non-California teams in the top 10.
The West Regional rankings consist of teams from Hawaii, Alaska, Colorado, Wyoming, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Utah.
