Basketball Recap: Nuniwarmiut Takes a Loss

Nuniwarmiut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Nelson Island Islanders, falling 100-35. The Herders lost against the Islanders in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 96-53 score last time.

Nuniwarmiut's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nelson Island, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

As of now, neither Nuniwarmiut nor Nelson Island have any future games scheduled.
