Softball Recap: Walnut Hills Comes Up Short

Walnut Hills fell victim to Loveland and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 15-0 to the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Walnut Hills now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Loveland, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Walnut Hills will venture away from home to take on Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Loveland, they will host Kings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
