Football Preview: Westminster Academy Lions vs. Cambridge Christian Lancers        
        
		
             The Westminster Academy Lions are taking a road trip to  face off against the Cambridge Christian Lancers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  both  suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  matchup.
 Last Friday, Westminster Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  33-28 to Somerset Academy. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as their game  on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
  Chance Humphrey put forth a good effort for the losing side as  he threw for 275 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 109 yards on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.  Gabe Walsh was in the mix  as well, providing Westminster Academy with two touchdowns.
 Meanwhile, Cambridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They took  a  42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sarasota Christian. One positive for the Lancers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Despite the  defeat, Cambridge Christian got top-tier performance from   Lucas Leiton, who rushed for 182 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 26 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave  Leiton a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Even though they lost, Cambridge Christian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 280  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Westminster Academy's loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 2-1. As for Cambridge Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
